Comone grounds very first video release, and it’s my choreo! :) We are looking forward to attack youtube with these kind of videos, since we have many members who are in to choreography. Comone ground is not only a dance crew, but a family who has many talents, our members have different courses such as MMA, FASHION, diplomatic affairs, dance, and many more. That’s why our group can dance and at the same time can be artistic!!
We decided to have a production on every choreography that we’ll shoot for us to have a good representation on what COMONE GROUND is, and we are a group who was known to have a coach ever since, but this past one year, we were on our own, even during REMIX 2011, we decided to be independent. So with this, I think it’s a good way to show that we can provide our own dance and that we are better than what they think. So, this is comone grounds first video, give it a view guys!! :)
Who knew a bloody action packed film could be shot here from our very own SDA Building? Just Because was directed by 108 AB-FILM Major, Ryan Dolores , who also stars in this film along with several other SDA Kids.
This film was included as part of HARVEST MOON’s Top Films for 2011, there’s not a dull scene in this project.

THE MAKING OF PUSONG LIGAW, A SPLIT SCREEN MUSIC VIDEO COVER.

It’s been a while since I last updated my blog, so I think this is a perfect way to come back, to blog a music Video that I am really proud of. So far, this is my favorite of all the works that I’ve done. But don’t get me wrong, I wasn’t the only one who did this; we’re in a group. 
One week of preparation, three days of shooting, and an overnight of editing. That’s the work we did for this Music Video. But before anything else, why Pusong Ligaw? We choose Pusong Ligaw by Jericho Rosales because we want our singer to be comfortable with his acting and all, and when we ask him if what song he likes or loves to sing, he gave us two songs, one is Pusong Ligaw and the other is.. I forgot but it’s a foreign song. 
We listened to both songs then, and came up with a better idea and concept for the opm song. The song is very emotional, we then made a mind map about it, the words that showed up were pagsisisi, paghahanap, naliligaw, gustong ibalik, and many more. We then have a very deep brainstorming and all about our plan for our music video, just like photoshoot, we search for pegs or inspirations for it, and after watching bunch of music videos, one caught us really hard, it’s not a music video but we just love the concept and all, it’s the Splitscreen love story that James W Griffiths made, and then we came up with a concept of having a split screen video, but at the same time, having a very meaningful story. Knowing that our story revolves in “naliligaw” or “paghahanap” or “pagbabalik”, we find it cool and exciting to run the story through split screen, I will not elaborate the story anymore coz’ I want you to watch it and see it yourself!

What’s funny about this shoot is we experienced all the hassle, First, Pau our girl actress wasn’t allowed by her parents the day before the shoot! So we panic and talk to all possible girls that can act for us, but no one really committed due to their busy schedules, so we were force to shoot on the first day without Pau, we just shoot Mac the whole day and there was another fail, we have a tripod and a dolly, but the problem is the holder of the tripod was missing so we were not able to use it, that’s why you’ll notice that some of our clips are shaky. And during our editing, chan lost his memory card, and that contains very important clips! So we were force to maximize all the clips that we have.

With all the hassle and sleepless nights this project gave us, it really makes me proud that we were able to do it in over a week of thinking, three days of shooting, and overnight of editing! We edited it around 11pm by Friday and we were able to finish it by 9:30 am of Saturday, and the submission was 11:30am so we didn’t really have time to sleep. Haha but it was all worth it coz’ our prof really love it, he even showed it to other classes, and he will put it on his website!! That’s why it makes us really happy with the result of our hardwork, first the kfc commercial, then this and last week the anti drug commercial, that’s why we always give extra effort whenever we have a new project because he expect something from us. And ofcourse to our two great actors, Pau Calubaquib and Pierre Macoy, without them this video will not be successful. And lastly, to my two great partners, Kevin Medina and Christian Cruz, I know this is not the best MTV in the world, I’m just proud and happy with the end result.

Our entry for nescafe’s “Simple shots, simple joys contest”
Well, it was all kimpois idea that triggered us to join this contest, he was asking me to act for his entry, yung concept niya is story ko daw, yehes may story, haha then ayun, nag usap kami about our plans, on the execution of the video, effects, marami kami pinag usapan hindi namin minadali. Kimpoi then asked me if kaya ko siya tulungan sa effects, may mga pegs kasi siya and he showed it to me, well nung tinitignan ko, mukang kaya ko naman, so here’s our progress..
eto yung first try ko for websites, haha actually gusto ko siya but then hindi namin na-achieve yung effect na gusto namin.. so fail haha 
this is for the dialogue, videos. I like how I tracked the movement of my hand with the video, sabay na sabay! I really like this too but parang hindi siya pang commercial so fail again haha 
This is for the dialogue photography, hahaha natatawa ako dito kasi parang napaka noob basta basta lang lumitaw, so ayun, galing ko noh pinag tawanan ko sarili ko haha
At the end of the day, we really want to achieve the effect that C2 did, I wanted to study it on my own but schedule and school works didn’t let me. Buti na lang andyan si Kuya Mark Pandy, husband ng cousin ko, iniistorbo ko siya lagi kasi tanong ako ng tanong, and then we decided to go to his house para turuan ako, sinabi ko yun kay kimpoi and sumama din siya, so ayun, hangang 5:30am namin ginagawa! haha but then, it was worth it, the outcome was really great and i learned a lot! This would’ve be possible without Kuya Mark Pandy, thanks for the help! and by the way like his page!

Last week kasi I was supposed to finish all my homeworks. but as I browse my files, andame kong nakitang videos! so kating kati ako gumawa ng video. haha! I tried to ignore it and finish my homeworks but I coudn’t resist! hahah So there, I made a compilation, it’s for my crew, comone ground. The videos are for my friends shoot for his vidprod class, pero naisip ko na parang magandang gawan ng video to, so ayun ang saya lang namin, haha! Maybe soon we’ll make our official profile video but perhaps this would be a preview! :)

What is dancing? As defined by most dancers, dancing for them is an expression of what they feel, whether they’re happy, mad, upset, excited, or even scared. Dancing has come a long way especially in our generation; you can see it all over the globe. I myself feel that every time I dance, there’s this feeling that I am trying release something, or I am trying to show them who I am or what I feel. Dancing for me is not merely an expression, it’s an art, artistic expression of what you feel, artistic style of body movements, and artistic way of communicating to others. Dancing for me is dancing, dance whenever you want and dance whenever you like, you don’t have to be a dancer, it’s just sad to know that some people don’t want to dance coz’ they feel like they can’t dance, NO WAY, EVERYONE CAN DANCE.
So with this, we made a video not to impress, but to inspire people, that you don’t have to be a dancer if you want to dance, just be who you are, just like the definition of most dancers, dancing is an expression, it’s a very helpful way of expressing your self.
This video is edited and made by my friend, Deniol Dumalaog, ofcourse, with the help of us. The video is for Vincent Igno’s project in VIDPROD. The original plan is to make a documentary about dancing but we were not given much time so we decided to make a video to inspire people, and convey a message, everyone can dance. This is a draft of our future plan coz’ me and deniol have planned to make a video like this, but the next time it will be more organize. haha
